The Infamous Albert Gore, Jr.

"Our National Tree"

Hey folks, Albert Gore is seriously trying to become this country's next President. If you'll remember, Vice President Gore was the fellow who said Dan Quayle was not up to the job...

Read these Al Gore quotes and ask yourself, "Is Al Gore up to the job of the leader of the Free World - the President of the United States?"

Remember when Al Gore was visting Monticello and was ushered into a room with busts of our nation's founding fathers? He waved at the busts and asked, "And who are these guys?"

That was a winner! Here are some more...

"During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet" - Vice President Al Gore

"We feel, and the Defense Department feels, that problem is not going to be a problem. Of course, it can't be a problem. We won't allow it to be a problem.... We're confident that it is going to be solved, but we're going to be doubly, triply and quadrupally confident that it's going to be solved before September of this year." - Vice President Al Gore on Y2K

"We can build a collective civic space large enough for all our separate identities, that we can be e pluribus unum -- out of one, many. " - Vice President Al Gore

"A zebra does not change it's spots." - Al Gore

"Speaking from my own religious tradition in this Christmas season, 2,000 years ago a homeless woman gave birth to a homeless child in a manger because the inn was full." - Vice President Al Gore

"I tell you that Michael Jackson is unbelievable, isn't he. He's just unbelievable." (speaking of the great Chicago Bulls player) - Vice President Al Gore

"My first pledge will be to restore integrity to the White House. And I'll fire anyone who has lied to the American people or the United States Congress." - Candidate Al Gore (was he talking about Clinton???)

"It seems an easy choice -- sacrifice the tree for a human life -- until one learns that three trees must be destroyed for each patient treated." - Vice President Al Gore anguishing over what's more important a tree or a human life

"I didn't realize I was in a Buddhist temple." - Vice President Al Gore while wondering why all those bald men in orange robes were running around while he was trying to collect the checks

In 1990, Paul Ehrlich and Anne Ehrlich's book The Population Explosion called for reducing per capita income, reducing Social Security, increasing foreign aid, doubling gasoline prices, and favoring regulations telling Americans how many children they may have. Sen. Gore wrote a blurb for that volume: "The time for action is due, and past due. The Ehrlichs have written the prescription . . ."
